Meet the Stay Africa! Team that will ensure you have the best social travel experience of your life!! We asked each member of the team to give us their favourite quote or saying…

Kevin Mudenda
Programme Manager
Kevin joined the Stay Africa! team in 2013 after various ventures in the travel and tourism industry, including a 1-year English-Teaching adventure in Thailand. He describes himself as being passionate about people and helping others. He serves as the primary contact person for all Stay Africa! programme participants (individual volunteers, groups, high school exchange, etc.) while in South Africa.
“Some people are so poor, all they have is money.”

Noel Kitching
Volunteer House Manager
Noel, affectionately referred to by our volunteers as their African Dad, joined the Stay Africa! team in 2014 and has been our full-time volunteer house manager since. His many years’ experience in working with young people, combined with his love for the culinary world and cooking (our official barbecue king), ensures that our volunteers are well looked-after while in Cape Town.
“Live a simple life. Live it Truthfully, Sincerely and Honestly… but most importantly, live it with a lot of integrity.”

Zollie Madlala
Volunteer House Service Staff
This “young lady”, from King Williams Town in the Eastern Cape province, is the most senior of the service staff and has been part of the Stay Africa family for more than 7 years. Loved by all for her motherly ways (yes, she can be pretty strict sometimes!), Zollie is the unofficial mother of our volunteer houses!
“Treat others as you want to be treated…”

Tendayi Matambo
Volunteer House Service Staff
Tendayi has been with Stay Africa for almost 3 years. Also originally from our neighbouring Zimbabwe, she plays a vital role in ensuring that our volunteer house is kept in a great condition and provides a good, clean living environment for all our programme participants.
“Do your best in everything you do!”
